DAY 2 RIO DE JANEIRO (B, L)
Today enjoy a full day tour of Sugar Loaf and Corcovado Mountain.
Begin this morning with a panoramic tour of the city, see Sambodrome, the Metropolitan Cathedral,
Cinelandia Square and its wealth of historical buildings. After a scenic drive along Rodrigo de Freitas
Lagoon, passengers arrive at the bottom of the Corcovado Hill. Embark on a comfortable train that
ascends the mountain, where the statue of Christ the Redeemer is located 2,300 ft above sea level. The
Christ statue, known as the “Wonder of Rio”, was recently elected one of the 7 "New Wonders of the
World". Upon arrival at the top, guests can use the panoramic elevators or escalators to arrive at the foot of
the statute. There, passengers can enjoy a panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro and discover why it is called
the "Marvelous City".
Later visit the world famous ‘Pão de Açúcar’, (Sugar Loaf Mountain), which has become an iconic symbol
of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Rising up from a small peninsula at the entrance of Guanabara Bay, its name is
said to refer to its resemblance to the traditional shape of a concentrated, refined sugar loaf. The journey to
the top is made in glass cable-cars. The first cable-car takes passengers to the top of Urca Hill, which rises
215 meters above sea level and offers spectacular views of the entire bay and its surrounding islands. From
Urca Hill, passengers continue in a second cable-car to the top of Sugar Loaf which rises 395 meters above
sea level and offers a 360 degree view of the entire city including Botafogo and Copacabana Beaches,
Corcovado Mountain and downtown Rio de Janeiro. Overnight in Rio de Janerio.
DAY 3 RIO DE JANEIRO (B,D)

Experience the diverse cultures of Brazil during a 2-hour live performance in Rio de Janeiro in the evening.
The Ginga Tropical Show(Operates Tue/ Thu/ Fri/ Sat) combines music, song, and dance to showcase
various cultures from around the country including capoeira, lambada, and samba. Enjoy a delicious
Brazilian dinner while you watch the live performance and then head up on stage at the end to learn some

DAY 4 RIO DE JANEIRO - IGUAZU (B)
Today, you will be transferred to the Rio de Janeiro airport to board the scheduled flight to Iguazu.
On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. During the afternoon you will visit Foz do Iguaçu
National Park to enjoy a different view of the waterfalls. Overnight in Iguazu.
DAY 5 IGUAZU (B)
Today morning you will visit the Argentinean side of the Falls, a World Heritage Site declared by
UNESCO and one of the Modern Seven Wonders of Nature. You will take the train to Garganta Station to the
lower and upper paths to get in touch with different waterfalls at varied level and heights. Overnight in
Iguazu.

Today you will be transferred to the airport to board the scheduled flight to Buenos Aires. (flight cost not

DAY 7 BUENOS AIRES (B, D)
Today discover Buenos Aires on orientation city tour, see the first national historical monument of the
city – Pyramid de Mayo, visit different city squares Plaza de Mayo, Avenida de Mayo and ride along the
several avenues. Visit Historical Centre, La Boca and San Telmo as well as the elegant Palermo and Recoleta
(Cemetery visit not included). In the evening, fuel your passion with a Night of Tango in Buenos Aires,
complete with a beginner’s tango lesson, Argentinine dinner and some magnificent dance show. (No
transfers).Overnight in Buenos Aires.
DAY 8 BUENOS AIRES (B)
Proceed and enjoy an Authentic Argentinean Meal and Cooking Lesson with Locals in their Home (No
transfers). Your local hosts offer a hands-on experience, where you will get to cook along with them in
their home kitchen. You will learn to make an appetizer and a main dish, and will also be taught to prepare
some local drink like fernet. Your meal may include a dish like tapa de asado (a meat roast with onions,
peppers and red Argentinean wine) served with a side of mashed carrots, potatoes, pumpkins and sweet
potatoes and a selection of traditional finger foods.
