The yatra usually begins in Srinagar or Pahalgam, where pilgrims feel the spiritu al energy rise as they start the journey through breathtaking valleys and sacred rivers. There are two main routes — Pahalgam (traditional route) and Baltal (shorter but steeper route) — both offering awe-inspiring views of majestic mountains, gushing streams, and serene meadows. Along the way, devotees chant “Har Har Mahadev” as they trek towards the holy cave, carried forward by faith and the spirit of togetherness.
