Details of the China Visa
Indian citizens traveling to China for tourism, business, study, or work must obtain a China Visa before entering the country. China does not provide Visa on Arrival for Indian tourists. The visa application is submitted at the Chinese Visa Application Service Center (CVASC) along with supporting documents. A China Tourist Visa (L Visa) generally allows a stay of up to 30 days, and the validity depends on the applicant’s travel schedule and profile. Applicants must provide a confirmed travel itinerary, hotel reservations, financial proof, and an invitation letter if visiting family or attending business activities. The visa processing time typically takes 4–7 working days. Final entry permission is granted by Chinese Immigration upon arrival.
